USPS Ground Advantage is coming soon to Amazon Buy Shipping
This month, the United States Postal Service (USPS) launched a new domestic shipping service called USPS Ground Advantage, and we’re working to bring this service to you with Amazon Buy Shipping.
This service consolidates the current First-Class package service, Parcel Select ground, and Parcel Select Cubic shipping methods.
Once enabled, USPS Ground Advantage will offer the following shipping methods:
USPS Ground Advantage Light: For packages that weigh less than 1 lb
USPS Ground Advantage Heavy: For packages that weigh 1 lb to 70 lb
USPS Ground Advantage Cubic: Cubic prices based on package size and distance rather than weight
USPS has updated its shipping service prices with the USPS Ground Advantage launch. These new prices have been replicated in Buy Shipping and will remain in place.
Improve your product ratings with the Customer review insights tab
The Customer review insights tab helps you launch highly rated products by analyzing reviews to better understand customer preferences, current trends, and specific features that must be prioritized.
As part of the Product Opportunity Explorer tool, the Customer review insights tab allows you to understand customer review trends in the following ways:
Positive and negative review snippets: Identify which product features customers like, dislike, or feel are missing, by analyzing customer review snippets sorted by how often the features are mentioned.
Impact of product features on ratings: Find out how much each product feature impacts its overall star rating, either positively or negatively.
Benchmarking and improvement opportunities: Compare customer feedback and feature satisfaction for your products with any ASINs, including bestsellers.
Amazon achieves faster-than-ever delivery speeds
As announced in About Amazon, Amazon delivered its largest selection of products to US Prime members at the fastest speeds ever last quarter. This year, we have delivered more than 1.8 billion units to US Prime members on the same or next day after they are ordered—nearly four times what we delivered at those speeds by this point in 2019.
To get your products placed closer to Prime customers more often so we can deliver your products faster, we recommend three key actions:
1.Maintain healthy inventory levels. As we’ve invested in expanding our fulfillment center network to increase same-day and next-day delivery, we encourage you to maintain healthy inventory levels to take advantage of faster speeds across our fulfillment network. On average, sellers who maintained healthy inventory levels saw a 15% increase in unit sales over a four-week period. To view all eligible ASINs and recommended restock quantities, download the Restock Inventory report or go to Restock Inventory.
2.Ship to multiple receive centers. Select the recommended multi-destination shipping option in the Send to Amazon workflow to transfer your inventory to Amazon fulfillment centers faster. We use receive centers to get your products in more quickly, and closer to customers. Each receive center connects with certain regional fulfillment centers, so we recommend sending to multiple receive centers for faster fulfillment.
